Patrick's Trips

Future Trips: Africa & MSR

Patrick will be traveling to several countries fall 2022 and spring 2023.  He recently completed his summer counselor and lifeguarding job at the Navigators' Eagle Lake Camp in the mountains west of Colorado Springs.

In November, Patrick will return to the MSR (Mid South Region) with Beverly. He will also go to South Africa with Kyle to help the final building phase of a Christian school we are supporting.

The Greenwood family appreciates your support of their missions and we invite you to pray about joining us in the future. In the meantime, if you would like to support Patrick and Beverly's upcoming trip to the MSR, please donate online here to Patrick or if he is fully funded, you may give to Beverly here.  Ultimately by doing that, you also help us free up financial resources to get to Africa as well.

More importantly, we ask for your prayers.  It is a huge blessing to us as the trip is very challenging.  We appreciate you being a prayer partner with us.  We will be updating via WhatsApp while in country and if you would like to get those updates, please let us know by emailing Bev at bevpolo@gmail.com.

Past Trips

Slovakia

Thank you for your consideration of Patrick.  He is fully funded for Slovakia as of Monday, Feb 24th.  We ask that you join us in prayer for the team and for their health as the corona virus has now hit Italy.  The team will travel through London and then Vienna, Austria.  From Vienna they will travel by train to Brataslava.  Pray the Lord will use this illness for His glory.

Patrick was chosen to go to Slovakia over Spring Break 2020 with 7 of his peers accompanied by Grace Bible Church youth leadership.  The students joined a longtime Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) Missionary Family from our home church, Grace Bible Church.  They were invited to go into the local schools to give their testimony and tell the students about life as a teenager in the United States.  In addition, they invited the students to a summer camp held by Cru in the area.

MSR

In November 2019, Patrick journeyed to a place in the 10/40 Window, an area of the world where people have a minimal knowledge of the gospel, but also have no valid opportunity to respond to it. Read more about the 10/40 window here.  Patrick with his father, Kyle, and two translators as well as two local pastors, ended up in a remote area inhabited by a certain tribal people (not listed for their protection). The Joshua Project categorizes that tribe as .06% having heard the Gospel and accepted it.  A family of over 10 people that were worshipping Satan, heard the Gospel and accepted Jesus as their Savior. Many miracles were performed in the small family hut and God used both Kyle and Patrick as His healing hands! It truly was incredible and life changing for both of them.

Overall the entire North American team, including Patrick, Kyle & Beverly, over four days, presented the Gospel to 417 people with 350 people professing faith in Jesus. 239 of those people were trained to share the Gospel themselves and 43 of those people participated in follow-up Bible studies.  There are many stories of healings, both mentally and physically, that came from the team's experiences.

Your Next Mission?

We, the Greenwood family, go many places several times a year.  If you would like to learn more about joining us on mission, whether it is your first or fifth, please contact us.
